KARACHI, Feb 6: A private security guard was shot dead and two passers-by were injured on Tuesday by four dacoits near the Bahadurabad roundabout in a botched robbery.
The guard, Azmat Ullah, of Ghazi Security Agency was going with the outdoor cashier of a money exchange company on a motorcycle after withdrawing Rs362,200 from ABN Amro Bank near Shaheed-i-Millat roundabout. A car with four occupants hit their motorcycle on a service lane and opened fire. The 28-year-old guard, father of an infant girl, died instantly, while passers-by Yasin, 30, and Naseema, 50, sustained bullet wounds.
