KARACHI, Feb 4: Promising Zain Tariq spurred with a superb show as Bayview High School eased past Aga Khan Higher Secondary School 62-41 to win opening battle of AKU Inter-school/Collegiate basketball tournament on Saturday at Sports Centre Gymnasium.

Zain smashed 32 points as the winners took control of the match right from the beginning and led 33-17 at half time.

In other matches, Lyceum School overwhelmed City School (Darakshan Campus) 56-31 while Shahwilayat Public School crushed Meritorious High School 66-18.

The last match of the day saw Habib Boys School overcoming Fatimiyah College 32-8.—PPI
