KARACHI, Feb 2: Naib Nazim Nasreen Jalil has called for allocating at least two beds for senior citizens in every hospital where they should be offered free medical check-up.

She was talking to a four-member delegation of the Senior Citizens Advisory Board who called on her at her secretariat on Friday.

Nasreen Jalil stressed the need of institutions and rest houses for senior citizens where they could interact with people of their age group. She assured the delegation comprising Shireen Rehmatullah, Akram Khatoon, Adeel Fatima and Dr N.A. Imam of city government assistance in this regard.

Nasreen Jalil assured that she would contact the town nazims and other concerned officials to ensure allocation of bed and free medical examination for the senior citizens in their respective towns.
