KARACHI, Jan 24: Prominent local players are to vie for honours when the Islamia Open Table Tennis championship gets into action at Majeed Khan Gymnasium from Feb 10, organisers announced on Wednesday.

To be held in collaboration with the Karachi Table Tennis Association (KTTA), the competition will be open for players residing in the city.

Competitions will be held in men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, mixed doubles, boys and girls U-18 singles and cadet boys and girls U-15 singles.

Last date for submission of entries is Feb 9 and the draws will be taken out the same evening.

Players who are interested have been asked to collect the entry forms from Islamia Club between 10am to 5pm on working days.
