KARACHI, Jan 24: Trans-porters have asked the government to reduce petroleum prices in accordance with the international oil markets; otherwise they would devise a strategy for a country-wide strike after Muharram.

“The reduction in oil prices had been announced twice in the international market, but the government is trying to dodge the transporters on hollow slogans,” said Syed Irshad Hussein Shah Bukhari and Syed Mehmood Afridi of Karachi Transport Ittehad.—A Reporter
