LAHORE, Jan 21: The Pakistan Steel Pipeline Industry Association has demanded discontinuation of the sales tax audit.

Voicing their demand in a statement issued on Sunday, association chairman Malik Tariq Mahmood said the audit was creating problems for the industry and would not bring about any positive change in the industry.

He said the Central Board of Revenue should solve the problems being faced by the industrialists instead of harassing them on the pretext of audit.
