SIALKOT, Jan 21: A four-month-old daughter of a trader was burnt alive as her room suddenly caught fire due to a candle here on Sunday in city’s congested Green Wood Street.

Reports said the wife of trader Liaquat Ali had lit a candle during loadshedding and went upstairs. Suddenly the quilt caught fire as a result of which the infant suffered burns and died on the spot.

Local people gathered there and controlled the fire.
