MINGORA, Jan 14: Two girls and a woman belonging to the same family died when they stepped on an explosive device in Matta tehsil of the Swat district on Sunday.

Witnesses said that the victims -- Nimro, 16, her sister Jan Bibi, 5, and Fahmeeda, wife of Gul Hameed -- were cutting grass in the fields when the explosive device went off, killing them on the spot.
