RAWALPINDI, Jan 13: Karachi Harbour fought back to have Rawalpindi struggling as their four-day Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Gold League after second day's action at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

Rawalpindi shot out Karachi Harbour for a first-innings score of 149 to obtain a lead of 26 runs. But home side finished the day on 122-5 in their second innings to hold an overall lead of 148.

Fawwad Alam hit 48 off 99 balls with four boundaries in the Karachi Harbour's first innings. He got support from Akbar Rehman, who scored 32 off 49 balls with four hits to the boundary rope.

Opener Babar Naeem hammered a brisk 50 off 59 balls with six fours and two sixes. Anwar Ali Khan claimed 3-51 to bring his match haul to nine wickets so far.
