KARACHI, Jan 13: The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) on Saturday named a ten-member squad which will take part in the upcoming International Tennis Federation U-14 Asian tennis championship, to be held from Jan 26 at Islamabad Club courts.
According to a PTF media release, Heera Aashiq and Mehak Khokhar will lead boys’ and girls’ sides respectively.
Mehboob Khan is named to coach both the sides.
Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Vietnam have confirmed their participation in the event so far. While confirmation from Brunei, Laos, Maldives, Macau, North Korea and Singapore is yet to be received.
Meanwhile, Pakistan's training camp for the upcoming Asian competition will be held from Jan 20 to 26 at the PTF Tennis Complex, Islamabad.
The selected players have been directed to report the coach at the complex on Friday.

Boys: Heera Aashiq, Syed Zohair, Raza Jibran-ul-Haq, Aadil Azeem, Faizan Khurram.
Girls: Mehak Khokhar, Aliya Hai, Ushna Sohail, Mehreen Izhar, Zoya Khan.—PPI
