KARACHI, Jan 11: Asmat Haider and Asad Hussain steered Shah Wilayat School to a 28-27 victory over St Patrick’s in a nerve-tingling match of the inter-school basketball tournament at the KPT Sports Complex on Thursday.
Asmat who was instrumental in his team’s triumph over City School Gulshan Campus the other day again played pivotal role by scoring 14 points. Asad contributed 10 for winners. Christopher and Glenn shared 16 points amongst themselves for St Pat’s.
Beaconhouse Jubilee Campus suffered second successive defeat when they went down 16-49 to City School PAF Chapter.
Muzammiluddin (15) and Arsalan Shah (8) excelled for the winners while Shazaib Anwar scored 9 for losers.
South Shore School who got a walkover against Happy Home School on Wednesday earned full points when they got the better of Falcon School 48-10 in one-sided match.
Jibran led the team from the front scoring 16 points for winners.
Aureol High School chalked up their first win when they beat Foundation Public School 20-11. This was Foundation’s second defeat in as many days as they went down to Karachi Grammar School on the opening day.
Dominie Flothow with 15 points to his credit turned out to be the main architect of the CAS School’s 18-15 victory over GBHS Mirpurkhas.
The City School North Nazimabad got a walkover against Happy Home School.
