SUKKUR, Jan 6: Sindh National Front chief Mumtaz Ali Bhutto has urged the Sindhi people to shun differences and unite to defeat what he called ‘anti-Sindhi elements’ in the upcoming elections.

He was speaking at a press conference at the residence of Allah Wasayo Ghoto in Ghotki on Saturday.

Without naming the People Party Parliamentarians, he said that a major political party was trying to strike a deal with the government but was reluctant to admit it.

Mr Bhutto said that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement had no sympathy with the Sindhi people and was working against their interests.

He said that thousands of people from India had entered Sindh through Khokhrapar. At the behest of MQM, Sindhi villages were being demolished in Karachi. Sindhis should sense the danger to their existence and unite he said.

Later, the SNF chief spoke at a public gathering at the shrine of Bharchundi in Daharki.
