NAWABSHAH, Jan 5: A man was seriously injured after he was shot at by two brothers on the premises of the district and sessions court on Friday. Pathan Khan Zardari had come to the court to attend the hearing of a case. He was shot at allegedly by two brothers Mehboob Ali and Rano Khan Channa.

Pathan received serious injuries and was taken to the Nawabshah Medical College Hospital.

Panic spread in the court but policemen arrested both the accused.

According to the police, the accused had mistaken the identity of Pathan as one of their enemies.

The accused had a matrimonial dispute with a group of their community and were misinformed that one of their rivals, Bhalley Dino Channa, would come to the court on Friday.

Police said that as Pathan was wearing a shawl, the accused could not properly identify him and opened fire on him.

The A-section police have registered the case.
