PESHAWAR, Jan 4: Veteran TV artist Firdaus Jamal on Thursday announced the launching of Tehrik Tahaffuz-i-Auraq, a movement for protecting the sanctity of Quranic verses printed in newspapers, magazines and books. Addressing a news conference at press club here, he stressed the need for proper disposal of such items and said that the papers should either be burnt, disposed in clean river water or be recycled.
