SAHIWAL, Dec 28: Police have registered a case against four people for allegedly removing the body of a woman from grave and beheading it for witchcraft. The grave of the mother of Abdul Qadir, who died nine months ago, was found dug in Chak 67 5-L by relatives visiting the graveyard.

Grave-digger Qasim Ali on inquiry revealed that Sadaq Ali, who allegedly practised black magic, had asked his disciples to arrange the head of a dead woman for a charm to help enable issueless women bear children. Disciples Murtaza and Jumma along with Qasim Ali committed the ghastly act.

The police were after the accused.
