Ministers violate hunting law

SANGHAR, Dec 27: Two federal ministers have hunted more than 800 partridges and about 20 wild boars in Mukhi area, in violation of the wildlife law which allows hunting of 10 partridges per licence on Fridays. The hunting party included federal Ministers Liaquat Ali Jatoi and Lt Gen (retd) Javed Ashraf Qazi, provincial Advisor to the Chief Minister on Fisheries, Jadam Mangrio, and the taluka and union council nazims of the area, sources said. Arrangements for the hunting were reportedly made by the District Game Warden, Ali Ghulam Nizamani, the sources said.
