LARKANA, Dec 27: The Chairman of the Sindh National Front (SNF), Sardar Mumtaz Ali Bhutto, has said that young blood should be encouraged to shoulder the future responsibilities of the country. Addressing a public meeting in ‘Wagan’ town of Qambar-Shahdadkot district on Wednesday, the SNF chief said people’s miseries would multiply if those who failed to deliver any good to the nation in 17 years rule were again voted to power through elections.

He said that General Musharraf had ruled for seven years, while PPP and PML (N) had ruled for five years each, who were again in the race to rule. Posing a question, he said if their tenure remained productive and fruitful, then why the people were trapped in the ills of unemployment, corruption, price hike and lawlessness.

“How could we expect from them to deliver good who, during their 17- years of rule, could only added insult to the injuries of the nation”, he said.

He said that President General Musharraf did not enjoy people’s support and was ruling the country through army.

It is quite visible that MQM had been entrusted with the responsibility of turning Sindhis into Red Indians, he said and added it (MQM) had begun the job. Today, he said the real masters of the land were deprived of their rights and continuously being pushed away by settling outsiders on their land. The process of settling thousands of outsiders in Sindh through Khokhrapar is already in progress and now talks were on to bring in more Biharis here, he said. He said if Sindhis were not awakened and united to fight under the prevailing conditions they along with their land would be vanished.
