PESHAWAR, Dec 24: NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani has inaugurated a pheasantry in Bannu, set up by the NWFP Wildlife Department at a cost of Rs4 million. In the pheasantry, established over an area of one acre of land in Bannu Township, pheasants of 20 different species are kept for providing healthy recreational facility to people of the area and creating awareness about wildlife, says a press release issued here on Sunday. The pheasantry will also be used for increasing the population of wild birds.—APP
