KARACHI, Dec 22: Sindh Chief Minster Dr. Arbab Ghulam Rahim Friday said services of Muslims of Bengal in struggle for Pakistan were unforgettable. This he said while addressing a lunch hosted in honor of Bangladeshi scholars here at the chief minister's house, which was also attended by provincial ministers.
Talking to President of Bangladeshi Muslim League Gohar Ali Khan, Noorullah, Tajamul Hussain and Abdur Rehim, the Chief Minister said services of Bengali Muslims for Pakistan movement are unforgettable. He said Sher-e-Bengal Maulvi Fazlul Haq and Khawaja Nazimuddin were key leaders of All India Muslim League.
Arbab Ghulam Rahim said Pakistan and Bangladesh were enjoying cordial relations and Muslims of both countries were also tied in strong relations.
The Bangladeshi scholars expressed their happiness and pleasure at getting an opportunity to attend the celebrations of Muslim League in Pakistan.
They thanked the chief minister for inviting them to visit Sindh. They said they had pleasant memories linked to Karachi.
Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim presented traditional gifts to the visiting guests.—PPI
