BADIN, Dec 19: People’s Party Parliamentarians District President MPA Dr Sikandar Ali Mendhro has warned that if economic, social and political injustices with Sindh continue it will lead the country to instability.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday Dr Mendhro said that Sindh could not benefit from its wealth because the federation was siphoning out 80 per cent of its income.

No other country of the world faced such a situation, he remarked, adding that the defective economic policies and heavy burden of taxes on people was making the poor poorer and the rich richer.

Dr Mendhro rejected the newly-prepared voter-lists and charged that they were part of an attempt to commit rigging in the upcoming elections.

Final figures of the computerised voter lists showed that Badin district's total voters had dropped by 50 per cent from 600,000 to 300,000 he said.
