PESHAWAR, Dec 19: NWFP Minister for Information Asif Iqbal Daudzai has said that Ulema are the only source of guidance and knowledge for the Muslims.

He expressed these views while addressing a public gathering in Gul Bela on Monday. The minister claimed that due to negligence on the part of past public representatives, many areas in the NWFP had remained underdeveloped. Local elders in their speeches praised the efforts made by the sitting provincial government, saying it had managed to provide some basic amenities to the people.—PPI
