PESHAWAR, Dec 18: Cattle dealers, union Nazimeen, naib Nazimeen, councillors and the general public have widely welcomed the reopening of the cattle fair here and described the nominal fee for it as a gift for the people of the city.

Various delegations of elected local body members, cattle dealers and the general public called on the town naib nazim at his office on Monday. They expressed their appreciation of the move.

The naib nazim directed the authorities concerned to make adequate arrangements for security at the fair. He also asked the cattle dealers not to pay more than the designated fee. — PPI
