LAHORE, Dec 12: The Punjab PPP Executive Committee has alleged the task of preparing new voters’ list has been awarded to a close relative of PML chief Shujaat Husain.

Briefing newsmen after a meeting of the committee here on Tuesday, information secretary and MPA Farzana Raja said the meeting decided that senior party leaders would call on the chief election commissioner to express their concern at the development. She said the meeting asked the chief election commissioner to bring the voters’ list on its website.

She said the meeting also decided to hold public meetings in different towns.
