PESHAWAR, Dec 9: The Khyber Teaching Hospital has started computerised registration of patients and has set up a central counter for admissions which is linked to the outpatient and casualty departments.
The new system would facilitate access to the patient’s data, leading to improved health care, according to a press release.
PROMOTIONS: A meeting of the Provincial Selection Board on Saturday recommended the promotion of 39 officers belonging to the establishment department.
In the establishment department, the PSB recommended regular promotion of four PCS (SG) officers from BPS-19 to BPS-20, five PCS (SG) officers from BPS-18 to BPS-19, six PCS (SG) officers from BPS-17 to BPS-18, three PCS (EG) officers from BPS-19 to BPS-20, three PCS (EG) officers from BPS-18 to BPS-19, three PCS (EG) officers from BPS-17 to BPS-18.
The PSB recommended the promotion of 15 section officers of the establishment department on a regular basis. The PSB also recommended a provisional appointment of seven PCS (SG) officers from BPS-17 to BPS-18, 12 PCS (EG) officers from BPS-17 to BPS-18 and 15 uperintendents/Private Secretaries (BPS-16) against the posts of Section Officers (BPS-17).—PPI
