SHEIKHUPURA, Dec 8: Three highwaymen robbed passengers of a wagon near Kot Mehmud, some 40 kilometres from here on Jaranwala Road, on Friday.

The robbers boarded the wagon as passengers. They whipped their weapons and deprived the passengers of cash, gold ornaments and other valuables at gunpoint worth in thousands. Sharaqpur police are investigating.
