ISLAMABAD, Dec 7: Britain’s shadow foreign secretary William Hague on Wednesday said that the Conservative Party would support enhanced market access for Pakistan in the European Union.

He held out this assurance at a meeting with Foreign Minister Khurshid Kasuri who advocated greater market access for Pakistan in the EU for creation of more jobs that could help fight poverty and extremism.—Q.A.
