SOFIA, Dec 7: Former Bulgarian Prime Minister Luyben Berov died on Thursday at the age of 81. He ruled a transition government after the 1989 fall of communism. Berov was appointed prime minister in December 1992 to head an informal alliance of former Communists and representatives of the ethnic-Turkish minority.—Reuters
