HYDERABAD, Dec 2: A procession was taken out under the aegis of Pakistan Special People’s Foundation to mark the International Day of Disabled Persons on Saturday.

The procession started from the Hyder chowk and ended outside the press club.

MPA Aslam Pervez, Rana Siddiqui and Rafique Rajput led the rally. They said that disabled persons were an integral part of society and they did not need sympathy but jobs.

They said that the government had fixed an employment quota of two per cent for special persons, but the quota was not being enforced due to a ban on employment.
