KARACHI, Dec 2: A two-day international conference on ‘100-years of radio, Voice of Nation: past, present and future’ begins on December 21 at the Arts Council Karachi to mark the centenary of the radio invention.

Media experts Zia Mohiuddin, Aga Nasir, Burhanuddin Hassan, Anwar Maqsood and others are participating in the conference.

The formal radio transmissions had been launched on December 24, 1906.—PPI
