FAISALABAD, Nov 30: Two persons were killed and three others injured when the car they were travelling in dashed against a stationary truck near Adda Rasulpur, Khurrianwala, on Thursday.

According to reports, five people were coming to the district from Lahore when their car collided with a truck. Nasir Tufail and Muhammad Shahbaz died on the spot while Tariq Mahmood, Muhammad Shafiq and Ghulam Mustafa suffered injuries and were hospitalized. Their condition was stated to be stable.

KILLED: A robber was shot dead by villagers in an exchange of fire at Chak 108-GB in the Jaranwala police precinct.
