Support to SMEs pledged

LAHORE, Nov 29: Business Support Fund Chief Executive Officer David Monkman has said the fund will assist in improvement of competitiveness of small and medium enterprises with an operating history of at least three years and employing up to 250 employees.

Addressing a meeting of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry here on Wednesday, he said that the fund had been established by the federal finance ministry in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank to enhance the revenue generating capacity of individual as well as groups of SMEs. —Reporter
