PESHAWAR, Nov 28: Tribal Electric Supply Company (Tesco) has asked its consumers in Fata to avoid using appliances of high power consumption during the winter season.

A press release issued here on Tuesday said the major cause of load management in Fata was the use of electric heaters, tandoors, geysers and other appliances.

The recent damage to the 20/26 MVA power transformer at 132KV grid station in Miramshah was due to lavish use of electricity, it said.
