DHAKA, Nov 27: Former president of Bangladesh and chairman of the Jatiya Party, H.M. Ershad, on Sunday evening expelled his brother G.M. Kader from the party.

The move came after Kader was named as one of the petitioners of writs filed against the president and the Election Commission earlier in the day.
