ISLAMABAD, Nov 26: Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Amanullah Khan Jadoon on Saturday inaugurated a gas supply project of Dobathar and an adjoining village in the Abbottabad district.
The project, which will cost Rs260 million, will benefit over 30,000 people.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said the government was providing gas, electricity and clean drinking water facilities to every nook and corner of the country. He said the government had allocated a huge amount for a socio-economic development programme.
He said a new 16-inch-diameter pipeline was being laid from Hattar to Abbottabad to address the problem of low gas pressure.
Mr Jadoon sought people’s cooperation in completing socio-economic development projects in the country. MPA Qalandar Khan Lodhi said basic amenities were being provided to all parts of the Abbottabad district.—APP
