KARACHI, Nov 23: A young man was injured during a snatching bid in Liaquatabad on Thursday. Police said Azhar Noman was intercepted by armed men in Sharifabad police limits at a deserted stretch of road.

Noman tried to resist and the bandits shot him, sna-tched his cellphone and money before fleeing. The victim was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
