SHIKARPUR, Nov 21: PML MNA Dr Ibrahim Jatoi has said that President Gen Pervez Musharraf believed in the politics of serving people and he had fulfilled his commitment to restore democratic process.

Talking to newsmen at a reception here on Monday, Dr Jatoi reposed his confidence in the leadership of Gen Musharraf and vowed to follow his people's-friendly policies.

To a question, Dr Jatoi said, he would contest forthcoming general elections from the PML platform.

He denied that he had supported PPP candidate in recent by-election in Shikarpur. However, he said, he had given his supporters a free choice to elect MPA of their own choice.

He said that majority of the voters and his supporters were sick of the activities of the PML candidate who were acting against people’s interests.—BoC
