PESHAWAR: PFI to be renovated

PESHAWAR, Nov 18: The Ministry of Environment has approved a project worth Rs39.7 million for repair and renovation of Pakistan Forest Institute (PFI), Peshawar, an organisation producing professionals in the field of forestry and wildlife and conducting research in the forestry and allied disciplines.

The services of this organisation are being acknowledged globally. The PC-I of the proposed project have been prepared by the Executive Engineer, Pak.PWD, Civil Circle-II, Peshawar, who has been appointed as project director of the project.

Federal Minister for Environment Faisal Saleh Hayat during his visit to PFI on Nov 24 will inaugurate the launching ceremony of this project.

Under this project the main building of PFI, residential accommodations and roads in the campus will be repaired and renovated.—APP
