NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Nov 17: Police claimed to have arrested three alleged dacoits after an encounter near Toll Plaza on the National Highway on Friday.

Reports reaching here said that Moro SHO Malik Sabir Khoso and TPO Makhdoom Ghulam Mohammad cordoned off the town receiving information that some armed men were going to the town after snatching a motorcycle in Shahpur.

Sources said that police surrounded them outside the town as they hid themselves in a sugarcane field near Toll Plaza and succeeded in arresting the alleged dacoits, Gul Mohammad Kalhoro, Hafeez Abro and Hameed Khaskheli after an encounter. Gul Mohammad received some bruises.

Police said that they had found three kalashnikovs, a snatched motorcycle and three magazines in their possession.
