KARACHI, Nov 14: The Sindh government on Tuesday imposed a ban on pillion riding on motorcycle/scooters in the city for 15 days from Nov 15.

A notification issued by the Sindh home secretary said that the ban had been imposed under sub-section 6, section 144, CrPC.

However, the ban will not apply on women, children below the age of 12 years, senior citizens, journalists and personnel of law-enforcement agencies in uniform. —Online
