HAFIZABAD, Nov 12: A case was registered on Sunday against three officials of the population department for gang-raping a young married woman a few days back.

Reports said that victim `K’ of Mohalla Pir Kaley Shah went to a senior district population officer, who asked her to see him in the office in the evening.

As she went the office at the appointed time, the senior officer along with his two accomplices overpowered her and gang-raped her. Further investigation is under way.
