KARACHI, Feb 15: Ten fights were decided on the opening day of the two-day Karachi City Government boxing championship at Ali Mohammad Qambrani Stadium Friday.

The most exciting match was between between Noshad and Naseer which ended in a 2-1 victory for the former but not before he was given tough fight.

34kg: Asghar bt Safeer 3-0;

39kg: Abdullah bt Asghar 3-0; Nasir bt Abdullah 3-0;Noshad bt Naseer 2-1

45kg: Asad bt A. Rehman 3-0;

51kg: Imam Bux bt Rashid 3-0; Jafar bt Salim (retd)

54kg: Sabir bt Asghar 3-0;

60kg: Shoukat bt Ismail 3-0
