PESHAWAR Nov 2: Former prime minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali has said that major development projects in Balochistan will enable the people of the province to enter into mainstream national development.

Talking to reporters here after offering fateha for the departed soul of former President Ghulam Ishaq Khan at his residence, he said that the projects sanctioned by President Gen Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz would benefit people from all over the province.

He said that credit goes to President Gen Pervez Musharraf who had ensured unprecedented freedom of speech and expression to people and politicians as they can talk on any subject of national and international importance.

Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali said the present government believes in dialogue process and has opened its doors for meaningful and constructive dialogue for durable solution of all problems confronted by the country today. In any democratic setup, he said the people are the real source of power and they will form the new government by exercising their rights to vote in the upcoming general elections.

Earlier, Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali went to the house of late former President Ghulam Ishaq Khan and offered fateha for the departed soul. —APP
