Festive mood in Nankana

SHEIKHUPURA, Oct 31: More than 20,000 Sikhs pilgrims from all over the world are expected to reached Nankana Sahib to attend the four-day 538th birth anniversary celebrations of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Jee, the founder of Sikh religion, at Gurdawara Janam Asthan.

Nankana Sahib, a sacred place for the Sikhs, has come to life as pilgrims from other cities and abroad have started arriving here to participate in Guru Nanak’s birth celebrations.

Pakistan Gurdawara Parbhandak Committee (PGPC) chairman Sardar Mustan Singh said that the celebrations would start from the midnight of Nov 2 and continue till Nov 5.
