DERA GHAZI KHAN, Oct 29: A district nazim office spokesman claimed on Sunday that the nazim had shifted his office to the spacious building of the DCO’s workplace to facilitate the public.
Responding to a news item carried in a national daily about the problems being faced by the DCO office staff, he denied there was any inconvenience to either public or the DCO office workers.
In fact, the move aimed at facilitating the public and the district council members who could easily be accommodated in the committee room, a press release quoted him as clarifying.
He said arrangements were being made to preserve the important record of the DCO office.
It is pertinent to mention that former district nazim Jamal Khan Leghari had spent five years in the ‘incommodious’ office and held important meetings of the district council.
