GILGIT, Oct 28: The Special Communication Organisation linked the newly-created Astore district with optic fibre on the eve of Eidul Fitr.
Sources in the SCO said optic fibre was laid from the Karakoram Highway at Thalachi to the Eidgah in Astore and it would be extended to Gorikot soon.
