KARACHI, Oct 24: A young man was killed in celebratory firing on the eve of Eid in the city’s Liaquatabad area on Tuesday night. Police said that Ali Buksh, 21, was injured when youths resorted to firing in the air.

He was taken to the Civil Hospital, but was pronounced dead.

The family of the deceased avoided legal formalities, police said.
