BAHAWALPUR, Oct 24: As many as 119 prisoners were released from the New Central Jail, Bahawalpur, after they were granted remission on Eid.

Of them, 91 were involved in petty cases while the remaining 28 were released after philanthropists paid their fine and diyat. — Correspondent
