GUJRANWALA, Oct 19: The Akhbar Farosh Union on Thursday protested against the APNS decision of curtailing Eid holidays from two to one.

The union in a meeting presided over by its president Haji Manzoor Ahmad Bhatti alleged that the APNS was watching the interest of newspaper owners while about 100,000 hawkers had been deprived of their rights.

The meeting decided unanimously that they would not distribute the newspapers on the third day of Eid. They demanded that the APNS should restore the two Eid holidays.

BAHAWALPUR: Akhbar Farosh Union, Bahawalpur, president Muhammad Anwar and secretary-general Imtiaz Ahmed demanded that the APNS should withdraw its decision regarding the Eid holidays.
