GUJRANWALA, Oct 19: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement parliamentary leader Dr Farooq Sattar has said that his party will set new trends in the elections.

Speaking at an Iftar dinner here on Thursday, he claimed that this party would eliminate the politics of plots and factories in Punjab and would give people their rights. He hoped the party would win hearts of the people and elections.

He criticised religious parties, including Muttahida Majlis Amal, for their dual standards and said that sons and daughters of many religious leaders were getting education in Europian countries while they were forcing youngsters into jehad. He claimed that his party would change the entire system instead of changing faces. He urged party workers to organise it at grassroots.

BAIL: The bail application of four police officials, including an SI, were accepted by local court in a murder case. It was stated that SI Zulfikar Ali and constables Akram, Ashfaq and Jeveher Shah had killed on Abuzar.
