SHEIKHUPURA, Oct 15: As many as 35 passengers were injured, five of them seriously, when a bus skidded off the road and fell into a ditch near Murad-i-Kalan on Sharaqpur on Sunday.

The seriously injured passengers were identified as Sakina Bibi, Faiya, Khadija Bibi, and Abid. They were sent to the Mayo Hospital, Lahore.

The accident occurred owing to the deteriorated road condition.
